(08 / 09) Case study
Lama Exchange
The interface for a crypto exchange with a physical desk and KYC: the whole swap takes one form and one confirmation screen.

(01) The brief
People are sending money to a service they found five minutes ago. If the interface confuses them even a little, they just close the tab.
(02) What we did
An exchange you can't get lost in
The exchange works both as a physical desk and online: fiat and crypto, with customer verification. The back end is a ready white-label platform; our job was the interface on top of it. Everything fits in one card in the middle: currency pair, amounts, payment details, contacts and two consent boxes. After sending, the person sees a big "Done" screen and knows the request went through. A dark theme with neon green gave the brand character, and the llama in the logo makes it stand out among identical exchanges.
(03) Result
What the client got
- 01
2 steps
from picking currencies to an accepted request
- 02
1 card
rate, amounts, details and consents in one place
- 03
100%
of the exchange flow works on a phone

(04) Inside the site
The flow has only two states: the form and the confirmation. There's never a moment when it's unclear what's happening with the money.
(05) Mobile
On a phone the steps are the same. The fields are large, and the exchange button sits at the bottom, right under the thumb.
